Kudos to Sen. Gregg

The Spokesman-Review

It takes a tremendous amount of courage, especially in this day and age, to put one’s integrity ahead of one’s ego. That is just what Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., did when he decided to withdraw his nomination to serve as commerce secretary under the current administration.

His decision needs to be applauded, not chastised, by the media and citizens of this great country. So what should we call a politician who has the honesty and maturity to admit he made a mistake and who refuses to abandon his convictions? Admirable and a role model for others.
