Galactic warming?

The Spokesman-Review

For the last year, I have been hearing a lot of debate over global warming. Some people deny it, while other people go into hysterics.

True science involves studying accumulated data in an unbiased manner. Records show that global warming is a cyclical event, occurring every 700 or so years. In the 1300s, the overall temperature of the Earth increased by 2 degrees. The result was an abundant harvest.

Any alarmists might be interested in knowing that Mars and Jupiter are also experiencing global warming. You certainly can’t blame industry. The only off-world vehicle in use is solar-powered and will soon cease to function.

As a Christian, it may sound strange for me to say that faith alone will not convince anyone of the truth. Like many believing scientists, you must look at the evidence as it stands. Problems occur when objectivity goes out the window. This is especially true for those on the extreme left or right.

There is abundant evidence to support the Bible. We Christians don’t need to resort to shell games or name-calling.
