of our long national nightmare is over. Bush’s policies have drained the treasury, destroyed our credit, commenced the demise of Pax Americana, sullied America’s ethics and values into an unwelcome pool of disrepute, and heralded the most severe world wide economic collapse in modern times. In so doing Bush rends assunder just about every conservative principle that first got him elected, including the eschewing of a conservative mutilateral foreign policy for a radical unilateral one leaving the United States virtually alone and vulnerable/
