“Quite the Scene”

Gene Fitzpatrick of Spokane, who is staying in an RV just outside of Washington, D.C., and attending the swearing-in ceremony with his daughter, reports Monday afternoon:

“We’re on Capitol Hill. There are hundreds of thousands of us trying to get our tickets. It’s a two-hour wait just to get in the doors of the building. It’s quite the scene. Unbeliebable numbers of folks.

Everybody’s in good humor and working well together… and lots and lots of police.”
