Protect your liberty

The Spokesman-Review

The neoimperialists have once again had one of their candidates elected and inaugurated president of our country. I’m thinking you now have time to be concerned about your personal freedom and the liberty of us all.

The Future of Freedom Foundation’s FFF Internet Classroom, Foreign Policy & Civil Liberties, is up and running. There are 21 speakers, each given 45 minutes to an hour for their presentations. You may download the video or transcript of each speech free of charge. Please visit: http://www.fff.org/classroom/2008.html

I do not belong to the Libertarian or any political party. Some of the speakers may, but it would be my guess that many don’t. I consider libertarianism to be a life philosophy, not meant to be a political party. Our country doesn’t need alternative political parties. Two are enough for a person to understand and track.

Libertarians just need to put their philosophy out there for all to read and discuss. Of course, once fully understood, that life philosophy just may effect your political decisions. Then any party, conservative or liberal, will come under the influence of members who support libertarian ideals and that just may restore the republic.
