AM Scanner Traffic — 1/30/09
- 11:04 a.m. Officer is in contact with two juveniles @ Highways 41 & 54, one of whom appears to have been involved in an ATV crash.
- 10:55 a.m. R/P reports that individuals cutting trees near her residents told her that they are working for Avista. She’s suspicious.
- 10:46 a.m. R/P reports his vehicle is on fire on the e/b onramp @ MP 11 (4th Street).
- 10:01 a.m. Resident on Lake Coeur d’Alene Drive reports that someone broke into her house last night, took keys & money from her purse, and stole her black 4Runner.
- 9:02 a.m. A female driver is penned in her car after hitting the espresso stand and a parked car at the quick stop on the corner of Government Way & Kathleen Avenue.
- Breaking: There is a two car accident along Hwy 2, five miles west of Sandpoint (Mp23). A power line has come down onto one of the vehicles involved. The highway is completely blocked in that area/ KXLY .
- 8:33 a.m. Post Falls and Rathdrum police are directing traffic along Highway 41 to allow the Special Olympics torch bearer to pass safely.
