JA: Canada, Always On My Mind

John Austin: Canada is like the little sister you see not nearly enough. She’s beautiful and self-assured, with a sense of propriety and correctness, but lacking any pretention. She welcomes you with open arms but also with some reservation as you are in many ways different from her. She’s what we should maybe question less and admire more, what we should aspire to become, despite the unlikely chance of that. In short, Canada’s the little sister always on my mind if rarely in my view.
