More Info: The parents who were cited last week for leaving their 5-month-old daughter in a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot for more than 30 minutes wonder why police didn’t immediately remove the child from the unlocked vehicle if they thought she was in danger. Mark Keinholz, 42, told The Press on Monday that he grabbed two of the couple’s five children in a hurry because one had to use the restroom and the other had a diaper that needed changed. “I thought she had the other three,” Keinholz said. “The biggest mistake I ever made was walking away from that vehicle not knowing that she didn’t have the child.”
