Item: Mayoral candidate Arnold doesn’t abide by Constitution: Fought with bailiffs during spring arraignment on injury to child charges /Tom Hasslinger, Press
More Info: A candidate for Coeur d’Alene mayor says he doesn’t have to abide by the United States Constitution. Joshua Arnold, the 30-year-old who announced his candidacy on Monday, was held in contempt of Kootenai County court back in March after refusing to cooperate with Judge Robert Caldwell and physically fighting with several bailiffs during an arraignment hearing, according to court records. Arnold had been cited for two counts of misdemeanor injury to child back in December. During his preliminary hearing in March, he refused to obey court orders, claiming he was not a 14th Amendment United States citizen.
Question: This ends Arnold’s mayoral run, right?
