Police deserve justice, too

The only thing repugnant, Liz Moore’s words, is that Ms. Moore apparently wants Spokane police Officer Karl Thompson punished by putting him on unpaid leave, before he is given a fair trial (“Officer on desk duty pending trial,” July 3). I thought Ms. Moore, director of the Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane, stood for fair justice. I guess her justice only applies to non-police personnel. That, Ms. Moore, is “repugnant.”
