ZK: No 60YO As Cute As Used To Be

Zelda Krup: I’m not excusing her DUI arrest, but people have been particularly cruel to Joyce DeWitt. The LA Times ran a photo of her in full makeup from her “Three’s Company” days and said “Look how cute she used to be.” For pete’s sake, she’s 60 years old. “Three’s Company” was 30 years ago. Rule of thumb is don’t do something that will result in a mug shot. Analogous to what your mother told you about always wearing clean underwear. Having a mug shot on file is not a good thing if you’re injured, killed or a crime victim because it’s likely to be the only photo of you that turns up in the media. Everyone can tell it’s not a snapshot taken on a happy occasion.

Question: Now, that I’m staring 60 in the face (Nov. 20), I wonder: Are there any 60YOs who are as cute as they used to be?
