Chasing Light

I was coming home from the Farmers’ Market last night and saw the sun’s last rays of the day dancing on the fields of what I think is Canola surrounding Hutton Settlement. I did a U-turn on Argonne and sped over to snap a few pics. This was one of the better one’s although I wish I had more than 30 seconds of light to experiment with. I love the way that the urban fringes of Spokane bump up against the agriculture of our region. One minute your in the middle of construction on Argonne and the next you’re beholding a beautiful historical scene. I don’t understand why the “Valley” is generally considered less appealing than say, the South Hill.
