Earlier this afternoon, I published an e-mail from Marmitetoasty describing her most recent bout with major knee surgery here . In a post last Wednesday, JeanieS/Nuts & Nonsense provided a second update re: her battle with kidney failure here . In the comments thread this afternoon, Chatterbox tells a bit about herself after undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer: “I’ve lost my hair from chemo. My eyebrows and eyelashes are very thin. I’ve also lost some weight. I have a few more worry lines than I did at this time last year.” Please keep all three of these fine women in your thoughts and prayers as they go through their hard times. I’m sure they’d appreciate your notes, too.
