Not all are believers

The Spokesman-Review

I wanted to comment on the letter “Rights expansion wrong” (June 6). In the writer’s mind, the homosexual lifestyle is trying to destroy the biblical definition of marriage. So, because you believe in the Bible, it must be so?

What about all those people who may not believe in the Bible? I am a very happily married heterosexual woman who believes people should stay out of other people’s lives. If two loving people want to share a life together, why is that wrong? Take your Bible into your home or church, read it as much as you want and stay out of others’ lives.

This bill (SB 5688) will in no way change your Christian life; do unto others as you would have them do unto you, remember? Just leave them alone to live a happy life and maybe if you stop fretting about something that won’t change your life, you might be happier, too.
