PM Scanner Traffic — 6.19.09

• 4:35 p.m. Head-on collision on I-90 @ M/P 1 involves several cars and has blocked the e/b lanes. Reportedly, a w/b vehicle crossed the median into the e/b lanes. Traffic backed up into Washington. One person is being transported to hospital. Update (4:53 p.m.): ISP officer radios colleague that his services aren’t needed because the crash “isn’t as bad as it sounds” (although traffic is still blocked). Update 2 (5:09 p.m.): Traffic will reopen in e/b lane in 5 minutes or so).
• 4:34 p.m. A 40-something woman who may have suffered a seizure is involved in a two-car accident in front of Windermere’s office on Prairie Avenue.
• 4:03 p.m. 3 females and 2 males involved in an accident in the Petco/Wilbur Avenue parking lot are driving away. More below .

3:21 p.m. A vehicle w/occupants is broken down on I-90/Atlas Road overpass.

1:56 p.m. A black-and-white pitbull is traveling e/b in w/b land @ Hayden & Atlas.

1:47 p.m. Anonymous R/P reports an RV w/awnings extended into the street is obstructing traffic @ Woodland & Forest/Fortgrounds.

1:44 p.m. A hysterical female who called 911 may be suffering medical episode

1:23 p.m. 500-pound man has fallen in the bathroom and can’t get up.

1:13 p.m. Aspen Apartments resident reports that his neighbor constantly pointed a gun at him while he was showing it to someone else. Neighbor has done this before and indicated to third party that the gun was “for him” (R/P).

12:55 p.m. A female whose car has broken down on Prairie Avenue, east of H41, is suffering a panic attack.

12:32 p.m. A “speed bike” reportedly is speeding @ 95 mph on I90, east of CdA.
