Future worth investment

The Spokesman-Review

Let us not allow the misdeeds of Wall Street to undermine the future of our local school children. Yes, the passage of the Spokane Public Schools ballot measure may result in slightly higher taxes, but that is small compensation for a generation who will be helping bear the burden of paying for the bailout of our current economic meltdown.

Eventually, the economy will recover, but now is the time to ensure a better education for our children and those who will follow them. Join us in voting “Yes” for the Spokane Public Schools bond and levy election measures March 10.
