Following Hoover’s footsteps

The Spokesman-Review

Will Barack Obama’s stimulus bill succeed? Absolutely! This will stimulate incredibly the growth of bigger and bigger government. In addition to this historically huge spending bill, he is planning on increasing taxes on the upper level of taxpayers. Excuse me, isn’t that exactly what President Hoover did at the beginning of the Great Depression?

“Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.”
