The Slice: Slice polls set to close on Thursday

I freely admit it.

I’ve been overdoing the stack-o’-questions columns lately. It’s lazy. Sorry.

But if you will bear with me, I want to offer up one more.

Here’s the deal. Back in the summer of 1994, The Slice ran a brief “Carol Poll,” a question only readers with that name were eligible to answer.

Then, in October of 2000, there was a “Caitlin Poll.” And there may have been a few others over the years, culminating with a recent “Pat Poll.”

Folks, I need to get this out of my system.

So today’s Slice will be a name-poll blowout. Then, Thursday, back to normal, such as it is.

Jason Poll: What is your secret talent?

Kim Poll: What advice would you give someone who just moved to North Idaho?

Molly Poll: What movie can you watch over and over?

Madison Poll: How do you intend to note Earth Hour 2009 on March 28?

Jerry Poll: What old time “Thanks for renewing your S-R subscription” tokens did you discover when going through stuff at your parents’ house?

Dakota Poll: What band did you see perform locally before the group made it big?

Dave Poll: If you had to live without either NPR or PBS, which would you opt to forgo?

Brenda Poll: How do you handle it when a guy you’re talking to stares at your chest?

Lakshmi Poll: Name something you’re burned out on.

Mary Poll: Have you ever met Don Kardong?

Bob Poll: What did you think was the coolest car model when you were a kid?

Ann Poll: The Spokane area’s best pizza?

Tom Poll: What’s your best story about noises from the next hotel room?

Katie Poll: What would you miss/not miss about Spokane if you moved away?

Darnell Poll: Do you boycott any stores? Why?

Bambi Poll: Why do you think you were passed over for the jury?

Vladimir Poll: What Spokane broadcaster seems like someone it would be fun to have a beer with?

Ezekiel Poll: Ever had to fire someone? How did you handle it?

Robin Poll: What rule would you change to improve basketball?

Gary Poll: What colleges rejected your applications for admission?

Jose Poll: What words do you quietly mutter to yourself when you hold a door for someone and that person fails to acknowledge your gesture?

Pam Poll: What book do you recommend?

Ken Poll: If you were czar of Spokane, what would be your first ruling?

•Today’s Slice question: What question would you like to be asked (assuming your name is not one of those above)?
