Three Cheers For Versatile Velveeta

While I was grocery shopping Thursday, I ran into a friend whose cart was filled with boxes of Velveeta. “What in the world are you going to do with all that cheese?” I asked. “Use it every way possible,” she replied. “My family likes it and it was on sale today.” The process cheese spread is usually reasonably priced, but my friend, who has three children, seemed pleased to be getting an even better bargain. Velveeta Cheese has been around for a while and those of us who like it, are looked down on by cheese gourmets.
