Insurers should collaborate

The Spokesman-Review

Re: “Single-payer option gaining steam” (by columnist Amy Goodman, March 14):

From what I have been reading, a national health care system is off the discussion table in spite of the fact that everyone except the health insurance companies wants it. How self-serving is that!

I am opposed to socialized medicine, because it does not do a good job of serving everyone in a timely manner. Maybe the insurance companies can collaborate in coming up with a plan that would serve everyone well without eliminating their own jobs.
