Democrats squeeze faithful

The Spokesman-Review

OK, all you “greenies” bought a Prius or some other mousetrap car because you wanted to save the world by using less fuel. Guess what? Your leftist buddies in the Congress now want to tax how many miles you drive as well. You did what they told you to do, and a byproduct of that was less fuel taxes for the government which you love so much.

Did you actually think you would be allowed to save money? Come on, people, like all Democratic ideas, they never actually benefit the people but instead always bolster bigger government while taking away freedoms. Is it OK for Nancy Pelosi to fly a charter jet to and from Washington, D.C., but you need to stay put? When are you going to learn? You cheer when they tax the rich, but how do you feel when you realize you must be rich because your taxes are going up?

Want real “change”? Vote for representatives who promise less government intervention in our lives and less taxes. When they do get elected, hold their feet to the fire and require they actually follow through. If not, throw the bums out.
