Nothing beats Bruce Lee in the morning
On this particular Sunday morning, when it’s cold and wet and the rest of the city is huffing and puffing out on the Bloomsday course, nothing beats sitting around watching Bruce Lee perform in “Return of the Dragon.”
Not that I have anything against Bloomsday . I ran it a couple of times and limped it a couple of times more.
But … Bruce Lee? And Chuck Norris ? “Return” has Lee visiting Rome to visit family members who run a restaurant – and if you’ve ever spent any time in Italy, you know just how refreshing an occasional Chinese meal can be.
After running through a corps of fighters, all in the employ of a guy who wants to take over the restaurant, he must face the notorious martial artist Colt (none other than Norris).
In, of all places, the Roman Colosseum. What can beat that?
Maybe I’ll go for a walk later. If nothing else good is on G4 ,
Below: I’ll save you the trouble. Here’s the climactic scene between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris from “Return of the Dragon.”
