From cellblock to voting bloc

The Spokesman-Review

If nothing else was accomplished this year in Olympia, at least the ultra important legislative action of restoring the vote to convicted felons was achieved and signed by our honorable governor.

This is more important than a lot of people realize, as we are talking about 10,000 to 20,000 votes in our state and this could be highly beneficial to the Democratic candidates in the next election, as the loss of the “graveyard votes” must have been devastating.
