Congress gives cause for fear

The Spokesman-Review

The United States Senate and Congress have an approval rating hovering at 15 percent. This simply means 85 percent of the American people know, and it’s been proven, our legislative branch can’t do their job.

In private business, they would have been pink-slipped years ago. Their task should be to improve our lives and spend our money wisely. They have done everything to cause economic tragedy in the country, then given our money to those who screwed up our financial system.

Greedy pigs then hand out bonuses to those who ruined our economy. They now want to run our health care system. I am frightened. They can’t even switch over our TVs to high definition. Remember the good old days when you just turned on the television set with a knob. Now I have boxes, several remotes and instructions meant for a calculus instructor just to watch the Mariners game.

We need to fight this harder than we go after terrorists.

Our country is a Rolls-Royce with a paper driveshaft.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid setting up rules for our medical system is like turning your Mercedes over to a kindergarten class.

It’s time to really pray hard.
