HBO’s Inland Northwest — 5.19.09
A hen duck and her 12 ducklings create a parade-like atmosphere as they cross the Lilac Parade route while trying to march to the Spokane River Saturday in downtown Spokane. The ducks are the ones that nested and hatched on a downtown awning where they were watched by banker Joel Armstrong, left, and Crystal Tobeck, right. A group of bank employees, media and bystanders followed the slow walk to the water by the duck family.
