All incumbents must go

The Spokesman-Review

If you are tired of how our elected officials are doing, we need to vote them out of office. At election time they tell us what we want to hear, then go off and do what big money expects. It happens every time with every level of government.

Now they are spending us into bankruptcy. Our tax dollars are bailing out everybody and giving bonuses to those who have failed. While we see jobs, companies, and retirements going away. Our country is borrowing money from those who want us to fail. All the while our elected officials are doing just fine. Even to the point of getting raises. Remember, these same politicians got us into this mess.

I for one will not vote for any incumbent politicians again. Whether it be local, county, state or federal. I think it is the only way to get these freeloaders out of our pockets. We vote every two to four years for these positions. We could vote all out in six years. Now that would be change and we would be the ones doing the change, not some slick-talking politician trying to sell themselves to us every time they come up for re-election.
