Prop 4 meets city needs

The Spokesman-Review

With less than one week until Election Day, we need to be clear about Proposition 4 and why Spokane needs a new approach.

We need new methods to get developers to sit down and talk with residents in neighborhoods, the real “experts” on such matters. We need ways to expand access to preventive health care and do it in a fiscally responsible way. We need tougher ways to protect the Spokane River and safeguard the health of the aquifer. We need real legal protections for locally owned business that will create new jobs and make sure Spokane money stays in Spokane.

All of these things are in Proposition 4, and those are all the reasons to vote yes on Proposition 4.
