Obama on path to doom

The Spokesman-Review

Our once-great country has a president and Democratic leaders of the House and Senate who appear determined to devastate this country and to impose their system. They advocate extreme leftist programs that are anti-business and anti-job growth.

In February, President Barack Obama bulldozed through a $787 billion stimulus package, stating that it was needed to prevent unemployment from reaching 8 percent. Today we have unemployment at 10.2 percent.

Obama fails to take responsibility, and his administration uses false data to boast about the jobs it saved. When criticized, his administration seeks to destroy and restrict free speech.

He has alienated our allies in Eastern Europe, Germany, France, Israel and appears weak to North Korea, Iran and other adversaries. His criticism of our country is appalling. His insensitivity immediately following the shooting at Fort Hood and his indecision with troop support levels in Afghanistan demonstrates his inability to lead and is harming our military. His uncontrolled growth of deficit spending will destroy our economic system, and the extreme liberal health care plan is a dangerous plot to control one-sixth of our economy. Hope and change are now fear and despair.
