• 5:06 p.m. Wildfire on east side of H41 @ M/P 31 (near Tweedie Road).
• 5:02 p.m. Chimney fire @ 412 Summit/Harrison.
• 4:47 p.m. Man reports his domestic ferret ran into a neighbor’s yard, and he needs help getting it out of there.
• 4:40 p.m. Someone in a w/b small passenger car is shining a laser light @ oncoming traffic on Hayden from Huetter.
• 4:25 p.m. Coeur d’Alene Bingo Casino security reports possible shots fired behind the casino. Tribal police officers are investigating. (Update: Hunters fired shots.)
• 3:58 p.m. Motorist on freeway reports seeing a passenger climb into the back seat to retrieve some beers in a speeding Toyota Tundra, registered to a Hayden man
• 3:34 p.m. Patrol officer is assisting an elderly male who has broken down @ 4th & Deerhaven after getting his vehicle from auto repair shop. (The vehicle broke down @ 4th & Honeysuckle and at Ziggy’s, off H95, where the man left it for the day.)

2:45 p.m. Motorist followed a possible DUI female driver in dark SUV from H41 to McDonalds/Pleasantview. Woman is now sitting in car in parking lot.

2:37 p.m. Foster parent reports 15YO runaway named Tyler, in a blue tie-dyed T-shirt, has left 16th Street home to possibly visit galpal on Davenport/Dalton Gardens.

2:09 p.m. Some sort of juvenile problem reported @ H95 & Walnut.

2:07 p.m. A mother and 8-month-old are stuck in a bathroom on Hollyhock/Rathdrum.

1:57 p.m. Front desk @ Safeway/Neider reports a possible counterfeit attempt involving a money order. Suspect is still in the store.

1:15 p.m. Commenter Going Postal reports re: Touch of Romance robbery : “Actually the whole Silver Lake Square strip mall was robbed. The burglars broke almost every back door on the property. (20 doors) They made off with a couple hundred dollars from Touch of Romance. No items were taken. Seems they were just going for the cash.”

12:49 p.m. R/P has questions re: Strawberry Fields subdivision sign that tells of camera monitoring.

12:02 p.m. Liquor Store on Sherman reports that a drunk man left the building and drove of e/b on Lakeside, wearing only one shoe.
