Good day to make the big ‘Push’

Today dawned as one of those bright, coldly crisp but sunshiny Seattle days that causes everyone to flock around such tourist spots as the Pike Place Market (Leslie Kelly and I were among them, sucking down un petit dejeuner at the crumpet shop) . We dodged the traffic, already snarled because of the streets being blocked off for the Macy’s Holiday Parade, and parked a few blocks away - which forced us to cheat by a couple of minutes on the half-hour limit.

We expect later to hit the Seattle Art Museum and then take in an afternoon showing of “Precious,” Lee Daniels’ adaptation of the novel “Push.” I can’t think of a better way to spend a sunny Seattle day than indoors and out of the crush.
