Time to seek out your less serious side

What with such “major”  releases as “Terminator Salvation,” “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” and the HBO miniseries “Into the Storm” coming out on video tomorrow, it’s probably immature of me to recommend something a little less, uh, serious. So be it.

That recommendation is “Mystery Science Theater 3000: Volume XVI,” which includes our favorite film critics tackling four different horrible wastes of cinema: “”The Corpse Vanishes,” Warrior of the Lost World,” “Santa Claus” and - my favorite - “Night of the Blood Beast.”

This foursome is just the thing to watch when life has gotten you down. Or not. At least it isn’t French.
