HBO Poll: Will You Get A Flu Shot?
The first doses of the H1N1, or swine flu, vaccines are expected to arrive in the area starting early next week. The state on Wednesday was authorized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to order 9,000 doses, which will be distributed to acute care hospitals, community health centers and public health districts. “Additional orders and shipments will continue from now into December,” said Tom Shanahan, public information manager for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
