The swine flu has arrived at the Shoshone County Jail. An inmate has tested positive for the H1N1 virus, the Shoshone County Sheriffs Office announced today.

The inmate complained of flu-like symptoms a week ago and was tested for the virus at a hospital. “Since that time the inmate has been improving in health and other inmates in our facility that have also been ill are all showing signs of improvement,” according to a news release.

In Spokane, jail officials are requiring about 20 inmates to wear masks outside their cells (pictured above) because of swine flu concerns. Read about it here.
