Proposition 4 would cure ills
Proposition 4 will strengthen our local economy and create opportunities for young people to learn good, skilled jobs. This is desperately needed as our economy continues to struggle.
Big business and big developers oppose Proposition 4, saying that things are going fine here in Spokane (“Pro-business group lambastes measure,” Sept. 30).
If things are fine, then why does Spokane continue to be one of the poorest communities in the state, and we continue to lose jobs?
Things are not fine. We must make change. Proposition 4 is an important first step in that direction.
