Waldref’s record compelling

The Spokesman-Review

Amber Waldref is one of the most qualified candidates to run for election to Spokane City Council. A northeast Spokane resident since birth, a product of local schools and a graduate of Georgetown and Antioch universities, she has worked to enhance the quality of life throughout our state and city, striving to improve the environment, transportation, health care, public safety and education. Amber has worked with Eastern Washington University and United Way to identify needs and priorities that contribute to economic, social and environmental progress.

Amber’s District 1 opponent, Mike Fagan, is a right-hand henchman of Tim Eyman, whose initiatives have wreaked havoc with our state and local budgets. Like all Eyman initiatives, Initiative 1033, if passed, will result in drastic cuts in our transportation, police, fire, school and construction budgets. Mike Fagan is a supporter of I-1033 and Eyman initiatives that diminish good government.

Tim Eyman said, “Amber Waldref is a wacko Seattle Greenie.” Amber organized for Heart of America Northwest’s efforts to clean up Hanford Nuclear Reservation waste sites to create a safe and healthy environment. Amber advocates for Washington and Spokane in every manner.

A vote for Amber is a vote for a better Spokane.
