All the qualities

The Spokesman-Review

Committed, disciplined, compassionate, respected and experienced are five accurate descriptions of one of the candidates in the race for the 9th Legislative District, Susan Fagan.

Committed: Susan committed herself 100 percent to the campaign by leaving her job as director of public affairs at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. To understand the true issues of the 9th District, Susan has knocked on thousands of doors, walked in dozens of parades and called thousands of citizens.

Disciplined: From her 10 years of experience at SEL and 15 years as a regional director for three different U.S. senators, Susan understands that being fiscally conservative is not always about being popular but doing what’s right.

Compassionate: Susan is proud of her community as evident by her service on the board of directors for the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, member of the Colfax and Othello chambers and former board member of Pullman Hospital and Northwest Children’s Home.

Respected: Susan has received hundreds of contributions and endorsements from Democrats, Republicans, business people, educators, farmers.

Experienced: Susan has worked on issues with Democrats and Republicans on issues such as business competitiveness, health care and the death tax.
