Hypocrisy reigns

The Spokesman-Review

Thank you for your very fine editorial stance on Referendum 71.

I fail to see how my daughter Britta and her wife Jacqui in any way threaten the marriages of the “family values” crowd.

The hypocrites that rail against gay men and women and then covertly patronize prostitutes and spend time in airport bathrooms should hang their heads in shame. Their hypocrisy is rampant.

The worst sex offender I ever knew personally (I’ve known hundreds) was an 18-year-old man, who had been “selling his sister” for three years before I dated her at age 18. She suicided four years later. A good upstanding “Christian” household with very, very white carpet and sofas covered with plastic in the front room, and very, very dark shared secrets in the rest of the house.

Denial of my daughter’s right guaranteed by the Constitution to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” is bigotry.
