Clinic sale sad move

The Spokesman-Review

I am heartsick to read of the proposed sale of Rockwood Clinic to Community Health Systems. I have to question the good judgment of the powers that be at Rockwood to throw their lot in with CHS.

CHS has already shown its true colors in its duplicitous dealing with Deaconess staff and with Inland Northwest Health Services, as reported in The Spokesman-Review.

I have been a longtime Rockwood patient and have great respect and affection for the staff who provide care for myself, my husband, my children and my elderly mother. They have seen us through some very tough times.

Nevertheless, I cannot in good conscience remain a Rockwood patient and have a portion of my health care dollars go to the stockholders of Community Health Systems. My next phone call is to Group Health.
