Fair stand on wages

Jon Snyder will make an outstanding Spokane City Council member for District 2. He will represent those of us who believe that honest work deserves an honest wage.

He will not vote down raises for city workers while voting himself a 67 percent pay raise and a half-time assistant, which his opponent has done. This unconscionable act alone should be evidence that Jon is the better choice.

But also consider Jon’s lifelong dedication to Spokane as a business owner, historical preservationist and promoter of local bike and pedestrian issues, local radio and equal treatment for all. His opponent brags about his complete lack of involvement before being appointed to the council. We need to be really represented by our council member, and we can’t do better than Jon Snyder.
