Cowen back on ice

There is some good news for Spokane Chiefs fans but they’ll have to be patient - star defenseman Jared Cowen is back on the ice. Of course Cowan, the 18-year old defenseman, is in Ottawa, as the Senators keep tab on their first-round draft pick, ninth overall, as he continues to recover from major knee surgery. Cowen is trying to be patient, he told The Ottawa Citizen , but it’s tough. The newspaper has a Wayne Cuddington picture to accompany the story.
