Risch Richer Than Late Ted Kennedy

In a Roll Call survey, Jim Risch, Idaho’s junior U.S. senator, ranks No. 13 among the richest congressman with assets totaling $19.49 million, which is almost $4 million more than the late U.S. Sen. Teddy Kennedy, at No. 18, had. Risch lost almost $1 million between 2007 and 2008. The richest congressman is U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., who has assets totaling $215.41 million.
