Spotlight (4:16 p.m.): Coeur d’Alene police are responding to Ramsey Park where an R/P reports finding the body of a male gunshot victim. Update (from SR) : Police are investigating the death after a parks worker spotted the corpse and called authorities about 4:30 p.m. Although there were early reports of gunfire in the park, police at the scene said the investigation is just beginning. Update II (according to police spokesman Christi Wood): Police have decided that the man shot himself to death.

• 5:44 p.m. R/P reports a verbal fight among 4 males, one of whom is pointing a handgun, in an alley behind an apartment complex @ 1902 14th/CdA.
• 5:21 p.m. An injured horse that habitually runs loose is contained @ 3348 Grand Tour Drive/Hayden.
• 5:05 p.m. A Toyota Camri is on fire @ H95 & Rockford Bay Road.
• 4:36 p.m. A female reports her half-sister punched her in the face on Seltice Way.
• 4:26 p.m. A trailer has run over the legs of someone @ 8th & Sherman.
• 4:22 p.m. Someone is stuck on an elevator @ 601 Front.
• 4:13 p.m. A social worker reports that a troubled juvenile has run off onto the Ramsey Elementary playground and refusing to come w/her.

3:42 p.m. R/P reports children are jumping on the seats, unrestrained, in a green Caravan on 4th & Neider/CdA.

3:12 p.m. City is preparing for Lake City High homecoming parade downtown.

2:44 p.m. A 70YO male has been found unconscious and not breathing on the floor of his Riverbend Inn/Post Falls room.

2:28 p.m. Officer responding to the scene of a fight in the s/w lot of Lake City High reports the individuals involved are in the principal’s office.

2:26 p.m. A resident of B Street/CdA is complaining of stomach pain, after returning home from California early w/injuries suffered in a vehicle accident.

2:17 p.m. A 2YO is playing on Coeur d’Alene Street/Rathdrum.

1:51 p.m. A suspect in a possible battery Thursday night has been spotted at the w/b Huetter rest stop.

12:54 p.m. A white Chevy pickup w/a canopy is leaking gas in the Costco parking lot.

12:41 p.m. Officer is looking for the mother of an 8YO that was left unattended in the Best Buy store lot.

12:36 p.m. A Killarney Lake man reports that his ex-girlfriend is in an outbuilding on his property, throwing stuff around.

12:35 p.m. An apartment dweller reports a lot of smoke coming from a nearby apartment on 6th Street/CdA.
