Robbery (at 5:35 p..m.): Post Falls police are looking for a 5-foot-8 Hispanic-looking male with stubble on his face who just robbed Walgreens Pharmacy/Post Falls. The man (who was wearing black sunglasses, a black bandana, black gloves, and a light-colored sweatshirt) reportedly covered his face with a black bag while coughing significantly. He handed the pharmacist a note that warned he had a gun and later fled the store on foot. The robber took 7 plastic bottles of Oxycontin.

  • 5:53 p.m. 2 horses are in a field on Brunner/Athol, north of Old Highway 95, one with a large gash in its neck.
  • 5:34 p.m. EMTs are en route to Honeysuckle & Government Way for a possible football injury.
  • 4:38 p.m. R/P on Versailles/Coeur d’Alene Place reports that his 56YO neighbor has been lying on the ground of his garage next to a ladder for 10 minutes. R/P hasn’t made contact to see if he’s asleep, hurt, or worse.
  • 4:24 p.m. An elderly woman has fallen in front of Vacation Rentals, 7th & Sherman.
  • 4:08 p.m. Utility pole is on fire on Chatcolet Road/Worley.
  • 3:41 p.m. A woman has told a friend that she has a gun and is en route to a Government Way cemetery to join her husband by killing herself. Update (3:58 p.m.): Gray Subaru w/distraught woman is pulling into cemetery.

  • 3:01 p.m. Firefighters are investigating a campfire-sized fire behind Lakeland High.
  • 3 p.m. Ptarmigan Drive/Hayden father reports that several juveniles taunted and tossed rocks at his daughter as they followed her home.
  • 2:30 p.m. Firefighters are checking out an electrical fire that was extinguished in the laundry room (second floor) of the Coeur d’Alene Resort.
  • 2:09 p.m. A teen boy has been nabbed stealing a car stereo @ Hayden & Meyer/Rathdrum, Post Falls.
  • 12:52 p.m. A w/b truck @ I-90 & M/P 37 (Cataldo Mission Slough) is about to drop part of its load of metal or lumber.
  • 12:19 p.m. A Mullan Avenue resident believes drugs are being used in front of children in a neighboring house.
  • 12:16 p.m. A vehicle has run over a male’s stomach and leg on Kings Canyon Road/Rathdrum. The individual is conscious.
  • 12:05 p.m. An officer is checking out a vehicle that’s trespassing on BNSF property on H53 @ M/P 6 (North Idaho Road/Hauser).
