Dennis: ‘Going Rogue’ Joins Library

Dennis Mansfield writes: “I have in that elite section of my library, the following — A first-edition autographed copy of Ulysses S. Grant’s memoirs, as well as:

  • The only book Gerald Ford wrote ( “A time to Heal”), autographed
  • Arthur Schlesinger’s “Robert Kennedy and his times”
  • Anthony Summers’ “The Arrogance of Power”
  • Ronald Reagan’s “An American Life”
  • Whittaker Chambers’ “Witness”
  • And about 20 or so other amazing books - some by liberals others by conservatives, many signed by the people who penned them.

Then I have a fairly large section of books (maybe 200+) that sorta occupy space . I’ve read them, taken notes from them, scribbled in them and put them in their proper place — in the library-garden reserved for children of a lesser God.” You can see what he thinks about Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue” here .

Question: Do you read political biographies and books? And/or: How many books do you have in your library?
