Fox bared its bias

The Spokesman-Review

Syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker brings up an interesting topic about the $2,000 RNC tab at a strip club (March 31).

On the Fox News Web page, this story was way at the bottom of the site, and on the CNN Web page it was near the top. When looking at the Fox News video of Doug Heye, RNC communications director, flags went up. Instead of admitting that it was a mistake, as Parker, a conservative columnist, suggested, he took the “hey, look over there at what the Democratic National Committee is doing” strategy. He got his information about what the DNC was doing, from a “blog report,” which we all know is the way to get factual news. He said the DNC spent $10,000 at Josephine’s doing the same thing the RNC was doing. Josephine’s is a D.C. dance club where people actually keep their clothes on, not a “lesbian bondage strip club.”

Both parties have their sordid laundry, I just wish that a news outlet which says they are “fair and balanced” would be just that and that a party who claims to be more moral than the other would act like it.
