HBO Poll: Fillios, Piazza Win Straw Poll

• Weekend Poll: With a record 4,001 votes cast, challenger Chris Fillios and incumbent Rich Piazza emerged as winners of a weekend straw poll of Kootenai County commissioner candidates here at HBO Nation. Fillios attracted an incredible 1,215 votes (30%), to outdistance runnerup Jai Nelson (720 votes, 18%) and incumbent Rick Currie (96 votes, 2%). Commissioner Rich Piazza held off two challengers in his GOPrimary straw poll with 748 votes (19%) to Kevin Ratigan’s 660 votes (17%), and Dan Green’s 562 votes (14%).
