• Spencer (@ 6:50 a.m.): Hey DFO, why do you suppose the numbers for Chris Fillios are climbing at the rate of one every eight seconds on the straw poll?
• Spencer (@ 7:14 a.m.) WOW!!!! As soon as I said something, the runaway voting for Chris stopped like someone pulled the cord! Good thing I saved the pages along the way! Less than an hour ago, Jai was in the lead, then Chris started climbing, so I saved the page when Chris had 726 votes and Jai had 710 and Currie had 74. Just after I posted the comment above, Chris had 942, Jai had 713, and Currie had 75. Y’all don’t think this thing is rigged, do you? Naw, can’t be that!

Question: Judging from the votes cast in the weekend HBO Poll, there’s a ton of interest in the two Kootenai County commissioner races. Chris Fillios and Jai Nelson are the runaway leaders in the three-way race with Commissioner Rick Currie. Who finished 6th among the 6 vote-getters in he poll. Do you think this campaign if Currie’s Last Hurrah?
