Every minute matters

The Spokesman-Review

Have you ever had to call 911 in the middle of the night because your husband was having a heart attack? I have. Very scary, but with our excellent emergency medical services, paramedics and emergency medical technicians were here in minutes.

With a heart attack minutes are everything. Life.

This levy is not part of the regular firefighters budget, not for fire stations, but strictly to fund current levels of medical service. If this levy renewal fails, budget cuts will have to be made, resulting in longer response times and fewer medical professionals. Do you want to take that chance if the next emergency call is to save your life? Think about it. Then vote yes.
