Veterans deserve better

The Spokesman-Review

I just finished reading the article about Jim Sinnott (“The high cost of living,” April 13). I’m from a proud military family, as is my husband, and had to reply to this article.

We live in the greatest country in the world and can send money all over the world and can’t fully fund the care of our deserving veterans. Something is seriously wrong here and needs correcting now and years from now and should have been taken care of a very long time ago.

This is a black mark on our country. Get to it now!

Love and thanks to our veterans.
