Baldwin likes Eags’ early challenge
If you go by what Big Sky Conference coaches and media members think, Eastern Washington University is facing four of the league’s top five teams — the Eagles, themselves, being the fifth — in their first four conference games this fall.
Third-year head coach Beau Baldwin was asked about such a difficult schedule during Tuesday’s Big Sky coaches’ conference call. You can read his response here in my Big Sky Notebook .
In addition, I’ve included some links to other related stories, along with this one , which includes the audio from today’s conference call.
Read on.
One of the biggest news items of the day — for Eastern fans at least — was the arrival of the red turf that could be installed in Woodward Field as early as today. You can read more here. I’ve also included this link to a story from the EWU’s sports information department that details the start of fall camp.
Feel free to leave any comments you might have, and check back later in the week for a pre-start-of-practice story dealing with the challenges facing the Eagles’ young secondary this fall.
